Your job will be:

  • Suggest a strategic direction of the technical design and plasma drilling device construction
  • Create complex, key idea designs, a drawing documentation of prototypes and devices including their optimization
  • CAD Design of the Plasma Drilling Bits according to the product requirements & associated verification test tools (inculding detail drawings)
  • Supervise a production and assembly of a designed device
  • Provide consultations in the area of a construction and production for the needs of a prototype development
  • Supporting analysis for design (hydraulic calculations, electrical calculations, mechanical & thermo-mechanical stresses calculations, life-time assessment)
  • Materials selection for the designed bits
  • Risk assessment (DFMEA)
  • Creation of Verification & Validation (V&V) plan for the designed tools
  • Creation and evaluation of the Technical Key Performance Identificators
  • Performing role of the test engineeer during the verification & validation testing, writing V&V reports
  • Writing design basis documents for the designed bits
  • Cooperation with other team members (physicists, electrical & electronic engineers, designers)

We will be glad to know you, if you have:

  • Technical university degree, specialisation – mechanical engineering, machinery, electrical engineering, material engineering
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with CATIA V5, Solidworks or AutoCAD
  • Experience in construction and technical design
  • Knowledge of production procedures
  • FEM CFD/Stress analysis knowledge and skills are a high advantage
  • Ability to get through the depth of a technical problem
  • Innovative approach to a device construction
  • Work experience in R&D team at least within one of these areas: design of drill bits for Oil&Gas, design of the High Voltage (up to 10 kV) and/or High Current (0.5 – 3 kA) devices, design of devices that work continuously at temperatures higher than 500 C, design cutting/welding or waste processing plasma torches
