Research and development of new plasma drilling and milling system PLASMABIT BHA for efficient and environmentally friendly drilling of wells and deployment of new product into production

In June 2019 GA Drilling started implementation of a project called „Research and development of new plasma drilling and milling system PLASMABIT BHA for efficient and environmentally friendly drilling of wells and deployment of new product into production“ with code ITMS2014+ 313012N944 together with project partners Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics of Slovak Academy of Sciences and University of Zilina.

The main goal of the project is the research and development of plasma drilling and milling system PLASMABIT BHA, to perform functional tests of prototype and afterwards to implement new product into production. Our new product is intended for plasma drilling and milling of rocks with aim of more effective, economic, safer and moreover, environmentally friendly way of drilling of geothermal wells.

The project consists of 4 main activities and 1 support activity. The length of project realization will be 36 months.
