European Parliament nominated GA Drilling for the SME Star Award in the category of Innovation. It has been judged by our attitude towards cross border cooperation, competition, potential and positive impact on the European Union’s economy.
Top regional SMEs from European Union were nominated by Members of the European Parliament in 12 different categories for SME Star Award 2018. They were invited to the Award Ceremony held on October 17th in Brussel.
GA Drilling presented its programme and state of the art in front of SME Europe Board Members. The company has been nominated by member of the European Parliament Ivan Štefanec, who handed the award to GA Drilling manager Miroslav Zimermann: „We are pleased by the award for innovation that we bring to the field of global energetics. We believe, that PLASMABIT technology, that we have developed, can access clean source of renewable geothermal energy anywhere in the world. Our ambition is to make top research resulting in technology with high added value. Thanks to it Slovakia can achieve reputation of a country, where world-class projects are realised. This helps us to retain young talents at home or to attract them to return back to Slovakia,” he stated.
